Week four of Ice Skating

Today was week four of ice skating. With the exception of the first week, the kids have been pretty unenthusiastic about ice skating anymore. I think they've realized they're not that good, and who likes to do something they're not good at?

Last weekend, though, the ice on the pond had frozen over, and the entire family went across the street to skate on the pond. First off, my husband is a pretty dang good skater! Who knew that he had taken ice skating lessons when he was younger? Not me!

A month later....

I just noticed this blog I got halfway done with and never posted! Oops! Anyway, ice skating is over. The kids all passed their skating tests! Woo-hoo!

Cady was showing me how she can spin and mid-spin she fell and face planted on the ice. In case you're wondering, those are not tears in her eyes. Oh no, not Cady. She's a tough one. Her eyes were just sweating a little bit. But she got a pretty little red mark on her cheek for the rest of the day.

And how's this for a random post?
